Shanghai is the largest Chinese city by population. It is a global financial center, and a transport hub with the world's busiest container port. Climate and weather
Shanghai has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Summers are hot and humid while winters are chilly and damp. The cold northwesterly winds from Siberia can cause nighttime temperatures to drop below freezing, though, most years there are only one or two days of snowfall.

Transportation
Shanghai has an extensive public transport system, largely based on metros, buses and taxis. It has one of the world’s busiest urban subway systems. Gourmet
Shanghai cuisine, sometimes known as Hu cuisine, is a popular style of Chinese food.  Sweet and sour spare ribs, Shanghai hairy crab, xiaolongbao and  shengjian mantou are well-known dishes. Xiaolongbao must be the most notable Shanghai delicacy and sometimes known as Shanghai dumplings in English-speaking countries. Xiaolongbao is a type of steamed bun that is filled with pork (most commonly found) or minced crab, and soup. Although it appears delicate, a good xiaolongbao is able to hold in the soup until it is bitten. Unlike the touristslocal citizen will have The Four Heavenly Kings everyday which include four most well-known foods for breakfast are dabing youtiao, ci fan tuan and soy milk.

Famous attractions
The Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower is a TV tower in Shanghai, China. Its location at the tip of Lujiazui in the Pudong district by the side of Huangpu River, opposite The Bund, makes it a distinct landmark in the area. Shanghai has a rich collection of buildings and structures of various architectural styles. The Bund, located by the bank of the Huangpu River, contains a rich collection of early 20th-century architecture, ranging in style from neoclassical HSBC Building to the art deco Sassoon House. A number of areas in the former foreign concessions are also well-preserved, the most notable ones being the French Concession. Shanghai has one of the world's largest numbers of Art Deco buildings as a result of the construction boom during the 1920s and 1930s. Xintiandi is an affluent car-free shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai. It is an area of Western integration, combining old and new tone. A lot of people go to Shanghai Xintiandi all night drinking or dining nightclub performances, during the day you can see the Xintiandi Shikumen buildings.
